If an IRS or state notice has arrived, you do not have to guess what it means or what happens next. Caros Group Tax Resolution will help you understand where you stand and walk a plain, step-by-step path with you. That path is not a guaranteed IRS result. Outcomes depend on your facts and on IRS and state rules.
No appointment is required. Email is enough.
This is a typical path for representation work, not a clock the IRS has to follow. Some cases move faster. Some take longer because the agency sets its own calendar. We will tell you where you are, in plain language, as we go.
We start with the notice, the years involved, and the documents you already have. Together we sort what is known, what is missing, and where the account appears to stand. You should leave this step with a clearer picture of the letter and a simple list of what still needs to be gathered. The goal is understanding first—not rushing a form.
With the facts in front of us, we lay out options that actually fit your situation. That may include filing, a payment arrangement, or other paths the IRS or a state allows for facts like yours. We explain the tradeoffs in everyday language so you can choose. We do not sell a canned product, and we will not push an option the facts do not support.
We file, submit, or represent as the case allows. You will know what went out, to whom, and why. If a step is not available yet—or not available for your facts—we say so. Timing is not always in our control; IRS and state agencies set their own calendars. We keep you posted as work is sent and as replies come back.
We check what posted, what is still open, and what you should keep doing. If more work is needed, we say so plainly. If this engagement’s work is complete, we leave you with a written sense of next steps rather than a vanishing act. The aim is a path you can keep following, not a one-day promise.
We will not promise a particular IRS or state result. We will not promise that tax will be eliminated, or that currently-not-collectible status or an offer in compromise is guaranteed. We do not claim we know how to beat the IRS. We will not tell you this is your last chance.
What we will do is help you understand the notice, organize the facts, and follow a path that fits those facts. Outcomes still depend on your situation and on IRS and state rules.
If you have a letter in hand, start here. Enter your notice type and we will email you what it usually means.
